Students work collaboratively in teams comprising 2-3 students from each region. Team formation is an important part of the telecollaboration process, so team members engage in building team spirit and team skills and strategies for working together. This includes creating a team name which is relevant to the members, and formulating a team philosophy to provide the members with a policy and strategy for working together. The team members use the collaborative writing tool Padlet to create and publicize their team name and philosophy on the Moodle course site.
Below is a Padlet of the group "Coffee Lovers". The team has collected all their thoughts and ideas on this Padlet and also started to exchange ideas on their final product. The tool allows them to share ideas, opinions or insides with other team members and also for other groups, who are working on their final product. |
Using digital tools in a telecollaborative project is versatile, because the tools can be used differently by each team. Hence teams can develop and share their own personalities.

These are some examples of products from earlier telecollaborations.
